Last weekend we got to go to Holiday World (which is an amusement park about 3 hours south of Indy). Brett had been given some tickets from Comcast so we invited some friends to join us. The Smiths and Mowreys jumped on board and Alan worked his magic and was able to get us a fancy, beautiful, expensive hotel room for free!!! He also was able to get us free passes to an indoor water park for the next day. Did I mention this entire weekend was FREE!!!!
It was so much fun. The kids loved the hotel (you'd think they'd never stayed in one before--well never one this nice:)
Holiday World was HOT!! It was about 95 degrees, add humidity to that and you can imagine how wet and sticky we were. We didn't last all day like we had planned, but it was ok because we went back to this:
It was a little embarrassing bringing in our coolers and peanut butter sandwiches. But hey, our budget doesn't allow us to stay in a hotel this grand, let alone room service:)
