Mom Needed A "Time Out"

Tobe thought it was so funny that mom was going to "Time Out". Yes indeed--I went to "Time Out For Women". It's a conference put on by my church.
It was so nice to get away, be with my friends, and hear some inspirational talks about being a better wife, mother, woman, and disciple of Jesus Christ.

Let's just hope that my renewed hope lasts more than a weekend--these beautiful children can be quite a handful:)

What is up with Jane's comment. What a riot! So much drama, and quite a lengthy little excerpt. :-)

I think I told Jane too much info about the talks that I heard at Time Out:)

I have heard great things about "Time Out". Your "handfuls" are still so dang cute!!

I like your white shirt! Very cute!

Jane's comment is hilarious!

Good for you...I need to put myself in 'time-out' more often. :)

Glad you were able to go! Did you get your complimentary "red" tote bag? I use mine a lot and it is a reminder to me to keep my renewed hope alive (even when the kids are testing my patience)......

I use my tote bag all the time too. :) I'm glad you enjoyed your Time Out. Looks like you had a fun group to go with. An awesome book that I bought from an event is called "I Am a Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson. I think you'd love it. Helps when dealing with the "handfuls". She speaks at some of the Time Outs too. Haven't seen her yet, but I'd like to. You'd probably appreciate the post I wrote on Sunday - it even has a link to a new Hilary Weeks' song. Which musician was at your event?
