We saw all the gingerbread houses. They were amazing and of course covered in candy which is so tempting if your name is Aly--well any kid for that matter. After many attempts and grabbing of the hands, Aly did walk away empty handed. Phew!!
December 7th was our first snowfall of the year so the kids bundled up and went outside to play. Aly lasted 5 minutes but Jane and Haley played for quite a while out in the snow. We don't get much here so their first snowman was more like a blob with a carrot on top.
Winter has come:)

Looks like lots of fun activities. I would rather stay inside and watch a movie, than go outside and play in the snow. But the kids look darling as always. They are growing up way too fast!
Those gingerbread houses are awesome!
I love how they are so bundled up for the amount of snow you have...funny. What's not funny is the amount of time it takes to get them in and out of all those layers for the 5 minutes outside.
I think snow clothes take longer to put on then the time they spend outside wearing them. Hardly worth it! Hayden did manage to go out all alone the other day, no one would join him, but he lasted much longer then normal.
I love the winter weather from the window next to my warm fire!
Keep doing fun things with the kids. They will love Christmas like we did as kids!
I like the picture of the kids playing in the snow. My kids loved playing in the whole 2 inches of snow too. Imagine if they got snow like in Utah, the kids would love it!
Love all the gingerbread houses. And fun snow pics. We got a dusting on Sat. morning. The kids and Pat were out in it at 7:30 am that morning before it all melted.
Jane's hair is so cute like that with the one braid in the front. I will have to try that with Abby's hair. :)
mommy i love you
