Since it was my first attempt to throw a party without my family in the wings I called Dawn and she shared a few ideas with me. They were a hit. And believe it or not we ALL made it to midnight, including Aly.

I had to put lipstick on myself as well my girls with a hot pad on my hand.

Pat wasn't even here on New Year's Eve. He got home at 12:15 am from Jacksonville, and we rang in the New Year over the phone. How cool are we?

I LOVE that you guys are making new friends!! Not that you don't miss Utah, but having fun people to do things with has to help!!
I have to laugh at the "forced games" you mentioned. Every party needs a few of those. At the very least, it gets the conversation rolling. Seems like everyone was a good sport. Happy New Year.
