Yes, I am Still Alive

We are here and slowly but surely getting settled.  We haven't found a desk for our computer so I am using Brett's laptop (which is no fun) so this will be short.  I have so much to blog about, but for now I will just tell you (1) I love my house, (2) I am meeting lots of new friends, and (3) my kids are adjusting fine. (Those are the answers to the most popular questions I get).  I miss home but I am excited for this new adventure.

I can't believe that your house looks so put together already! I have lived here for almost 3 years and I still have a room in the basement where all the "xtra" stuff goes! Way to go. I am so glad you are doing well. Keep us updated and show lot's of pics once everything is done!

YEAH!! I love the picture of the house. The kids have got to be happier with a whole family rather than just mom.

Hello! We wish you the mostest, no matter what anyone else says. We miss the kids running into the street without a care, Bret perfectly parking the Jetta in the garage and Amanda looking beautiful with a smile, no matter what time of the day. Bret is beautiful, but he is "OLD MAN HATCH". Has Ali said my name yet? I am sure she will soon. Does Tobe and Jane reminisce about the good old days with "tickle tests"? Please give them a tickle for us.

Happy Holidays. Glad you made the trip safely. The colors in your house are beautiful. Peaceful and serene looking. I love your fireplace, too. The kids sure have grown since I saw them this past summer. Happy to hear they are adjusting well. Kids seem to do that. Wish you the best. AH
