Farewell...For A Time

I have only 3 more days left here so I am taking the time to be with the people I love. I will have so much to blog about when I get to my new home, but for now I bid you farewell.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Best of luck to you on your car trip over to Colorado. I hope the kids are great.
We will miss you, but will be able to see you on your blog! Tell Brett hi for us!
Today our quilting group is going to St. George for the weekend. There will be as always much talk about your Mom. I think she might peek in on us, but mostly she will be with you as you travel! Much love!

Thinking of you too!

Okay...exhale, you CAN handle this! You are a strong woman with an amazing angel watching out for everything you do! You have three great kids and a husband who loves you pieces. You have a family that's never been closer and are there for you all hours of the day! And friends...real, internet, neighbors (old and new)!

You are GOING TO BE JUST FINE!
Good luck, Amanda!

Hey Amanda,
This is Dawn's friend Alyssa. I was thinking about you and asked Dawn what was new with your family. She told me you were about to head out for your new adventure in Indiana. Given the time Dawn and I spent in PA, and now given the fact that I am living in FL, I want to share valuable advice that was given to me a LONG time ago. Regarding new adventures and making a life for yourself in a new city, I was counseled to "figure out what you want, then go get it". If you want friends, be one and find them. If you want to love the city your are in, look for it's beauty, rather than its faults. If you want to meet kind and gracious people, be that way yourself. If you want to be happy, seek things that bring you joy, rather than dwelling on the things that bring you sadness. My personal feeling is that you will find EXACTLY what you look for in life. If you are looking to be miserable, you will be. If you are looking for opportunities to grow, become stronger, unite your family and see all the beauty that is present no matter where you live, you will find that. Good luck and thank heavens for blogging. Your family will love to see and read about your amazing experiences. Oh, and by the way...I once had a childhood friend who moved to Indiana. She LOVES it and said she would never go back to Utah.
