Halloween & Indiana

I promise once we have moved and are settled I will return to being the blogging junkie that I once was.  I have really slacked on my blog and my commenting.  So Sorry!!

Well Halloween did happen at the old homestead.  We had our annual trunk-or-treat at my dad's ward.  This is tradition.  And even though my dad had just gotten home from a 2 1/2 week vacation minutes before it started, we HAD to go.  So here we are:

You'll notice that Tobe didn't wear his Thomas the Train costume.  He would not dress up and even though "everyone else is wearing a costume" he wanted nothing to do with it.  He's Tobe!!

Josh and Megan came to my dad's house for Halloween and we took the kids trick-or-treating.  Again Tobe wouldn't wear a costume.
But Jane wore hers proudly and loved all the comments she received.  She said, "Mom, everyone loves.........me!"  She's too funny.

After trick-or-treating I distributed my kids to their designated babysitters (thanks Dawn and Ashley) because I had to catch a 7:00 flight the next morning to Indiana.  Brett had found a house but was afraid to make the final decision without my approval.  So I flew out Saturday afternoon.  It is a beautiful house.  We put an offer in and are awaiting their decision.  (Buying a house is just as stressful as selling.  I don't do well with anticipation.) Here is the link to the house.  If they take our offer we could close on it in about 2 weeks:):)

It has been fun to see Brett.  I hadn't seen him in over 2 weeks so I am glad I came out here.  He had tickets to the Indiana Pacers game and the Indianapolis Colts game.  I keep asking him if Indiana will be as fun when we all get out here and real life begins.  Every time we've been here together it's been a relaxing and fun vacation.  He reassures me it will:)

Wow! The house is awesome! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

Too funny about Tobe. I was afraid Noah wasn't going to wear his either even though he LOVES Thomas. But he finally warmed up to the idea. :) Jane is too cute modeling her costume. Love the wig! :)

Love the house...the swingset in the back is sweet! That wet bar in the basement is gonna come in handy for all of your big drinking parties! Jane does look adorable, she totally deserves all the praise. Tobe is so funny, quirks are endearing!

I hope you get the house. It is beautiful. I am also grateful to know that my child was not the only one who did not dress up for Halloween. I tried and failed. Oh well. Maybe next year.
