It Ain't Easy Being A Princess (or a princess's mom:)

Those of you with little girls will understand the importance of meeting the "real" princesses at Disney Land.  I must say we were breezing through every line of every ride, all except the princess line.  For those of you who haven't been to Disney Land lately, they have a new (it's not even a ride) attraction where you get to stand in line for EVER to see 3 princesses at a time.  You can't see who is behind the wall so you take your chances every time you stand in the line.  And all you do is see the princesses and get a picture.  That's it!!

But I will say the first time (not the 2nd or 3rd) but the 1st time we got behind the wall and saw the "real" Ariel I thought I was going to cry.  I was so happy for little Jane.  She had looked forward to this moment for 4 1/2 years (to her seemed like a lifetime:)  And she was mesmerized.
and the "real" Jasmine

and the "real" Cinderella

This moment led me to buy this:

Only at Disney Land would you spend a fortune on a dress that she'll only wear a handful of times (mostly because I won't let her wear it anymore than that), but doesn't she look beautiful?  She melted her daddy's heart, and her grandpa's and her mother's.

We went back for round 2 the next day...

We saw the "real" Sleeping Beauty

The "real" Cinderella (no one noticed that she was totally different from the day before..phew!!)

And the "real" Mulan. (is she even a princess?)

So now we only had Belle and Snow White left.  We went back for our 3rd and final attempt to see all the princesses.

We saw Belle

Cinderella again (she allowed Tobe to be in the picture because she had already seen Cinderella)

and Jasmine (once again she was different from the first day but who's paying attention?)
Tobe was so funny, he kept blowing  kisses to all the princesses.  What a ladies man!!

This was by far the highlight of the trip.  Even though Cinderella wasted 3 pages in Jane's autograph book so we didn't have any room for Belle, Pooh, and Tigger, and we never did get a picture with Snow White, but that just gives us a reason to go back.

All of Janey Bug's dreams came true!!!

So cute! I love all the "real" Cinderellas best, and Sleeping Beauty's bangs too, mostly cuz they are real...real big. :)

That is too funny that the princess's changed from day to day and that Jane didn't notice. I love that she was so happy in the pictures. The dress is adorable and it makes all the sense in the world that you would buy her that. It is so authentic!!

I love that you put "real" in front of all those princesses! Mulan becomes a princess by hooking up with army dude, I think. Who cares, she has girl power!

That will be me in a few years!(: Makenna is already such a little princess.(: I'm glad you and your family had such a good time at Disneyland. You guys deserved it! Congrats on selling you house too! I would love to get together with you, your sisters, and Adrian sometime before you move. I was thinking going to dinner and having a good chat. Let me know what you think.

So awesome! I felt that same way when we went to the Cinderella dinner. I think I was just as excited as Abby. Abby just looked at all your pics. Loved them!

Don't you just want to live there?

Jane is so cute. I am very impressed that you got them all. That is a lot of waiting in line, what a good mom you are.
