Today was Jane's first day of school. She is going back to the same preschool she attended last year with Miss Hollie. The 2 friends she went with last year have moved on to Kindergarten so Jane doesn't know anyone this year. She had butterflies in her tummy all morning. When we got there she began to cry. Normally I would have gritted my teeth and said, "You get in there right now!!" But she has been so sweet this last week (with no accidents since Thursday:) that it actually broke my heart to leave her there. I'm sure she'll be fine.
But then I got in my car and soaked in the reality of this:
Taking Tobe to school
Dropping Jane off (you can tell she's nervous:()
Just you and me girl, Yipee!!

She is such a pretty girl. So hard to let them go when they are sad, but isn't it fun to remember how easy it was to just have one or to wonder why we ever thought we had our hands full with one. Even if it is just for a minute....
Jane looks so grown up. I like the play by play pictures. So where did you go after you dropped them off? Somewhere fun I hope.
Ohhhh - Janey Bug!!
I hope you had a great first day of school. You looked so cute - just like a school-girl.
Have fun with just Aly! Where's the pre-school for one year olds??? ;)
Jane is such a cute little girl. Have fun with just Aly.
Yeah- Jane is doing so good keeping dry!! Hopefully she keeps up the good work. So the big question is: What did you do while both the kids were at school? That is a lot of freedom!!
I love Mrs. Hollie. It is too bad Jane is not in Kindergarten.
Her outfit is so cute. Jane does look so much like you, what a cute girl!
I hope she had a great first day back. She looks darling. Isn't it so sad when they cry right before going in?! I think cuz we are nervous for them too. Avery did it one day last week when her little friend wasn't with her. So sad.
She is so stinkin' cute! I'm still happy for Tobe too, that he has his own thing!
Okay...isn't it so quiet with just our little girls. Today was Thatcher's first day too and I felt lonely!
Jane looks adorable! {as usual} Abby misses her, she wishes they were in kindergarten together. I'm glad she went back to Miss Hollie, we just love her!
No accidents since Thurs! That is awesome, you'll have to take my Avery for a week and give her back when you have conquered the ever frustrating bladder problems! She looks cute, love that long hair...just as pretty as her mommy.
She's such a cutie. I hope she had a great day.
Love the van pictures. I have to drop Abby off in a carpool line at her school on Tuesday. The teachers greet them at the cars to avoid all the parents going in. I am having major anxiety.
P.S. I will be back soon to read your parents' story.
