Holiday Week

Brett got to take the entire week after Christmas off. It was so nice having him home. We got a lot of household chores done, let the kids play and trash the house, and we did get out for a few outings.

We went to the Children's Museum:

It's much more fun with dad:)

We drove 2 hours round trip for ice cream at Ivanhoes:

Enjoying ice cream in our coats...brrrr!!

Anything PINK!!!

Wow-wee look at those:)

The Smith's

Beth

Alan

We drove 4 hours round trip to IKEA. The nearest one is in Cincinnati, OH.

Aly is being potty trained (for good) and every time she fills up her potty chart she gets make up. She informed me that Santa brought the wrong kind of make up. She didn't want Tinkerbell make up she wanted "big girl" make up like mom's. Oh my!! She's 2.

Now back to reality and New Year's resolutions. So far so good. No more excuses. I've lived here for a whole year now and my mom has been gone for almost 2. It's time to pick up the pieces and create my new normal. I have high hopes for 2010:)

Sounds like a fun week. Jamey always has a hard time going back to work after all the holidays. After all it is more fun to be at home and play. :)

Good attitude!!! Could you bring those dang cute kids home too? They are growing up too fast and I am missing all of it!! I have to say, your life in Indiana looks way fun. Just think of it as a fun and really long vacation.

How fun to have Brett home for a week. Lucky you!

You tell your little photographer that she should warn a person when she is going to take a picture!

That was a lot of fun last night, well until my bloody nose and the whole paint thing. We should get together more.

Great picture of me with my pink ice cream - thanks for that.

Also, all information revealed about myself and or Beth during the board game last night is highly confidential and not to be repeated.

Lots of driving! I'm hungry for icecream now. I'm planning Avery's birthday party right now and it's themed Icecream Cones.

Good luck with the PT. I still don't know how I did that one...

What a fun week! I can't wait to go to the Barbie exhibit!

Good luck in 2010 -- although I don't think you really need it. You're too hard on yourself.

Love the hula hoop pic and two hours to Ivanhoes? That must be some good ice cream!!!

I think you've made a lot more progress towards your "new normal" than you give yourself credit for.

One of my goals for 2010 is to plan a trip to see YOU!!! I saw that Time Out for Women is in Indianapolis this April. I wonder if I could swing that. It would be so fun to go with you. :)

Such fun adventures! Isn't it funny the distances we will drive for random things? By the way...do you know a Sherrie Gunn? She's a friend of mine from my current town that just moved to your current town (I think). Figured you might be in the same ward or stake? They moved in August, actually, now that I think about it. The only reason I know their exact address now is because of a Christmas card I received from them. Curious if you know her...

Good luck with 2010!! I can not believe she is getting potty trained, I have not even started with Josh.
