The Snow Has Fallen and I Must Look OLD

So I am a few days late in posting and I have no excuses because we have basically been home for the last few days because the snow has fallen on the lovely state of Indiana.
And when it snows here the state shuts down.  No school, no work.  Brett couldn't even get out of the driveway and our street didn't get plowed until 5 pm.

Luckily our neighbor let Brett borrow his shovel to take care of the driveway, but later when I was shoveling the sweet neighbor came back and asked me if MY SON still had his shovel.  MY SON!!!  I know Brett looks really young but I never thought I looked that old.  Needless to say he is not my favorite neighbor:(

Self portrait of Brett and myself...boo hoo:(

Nice!!!!

You were right - you did get snowed it.
Now if ever Brett tries to tell you what to do, you can say - "Remember, YOU are MY son and you don't tell Mommy what to do." Ha Ha Ha!

Have a great and snowy day!!

Love the snow. I really do. But I can't believe he asked if your son was there. WHATEVER. I am so sorry. You don't look old.

Didn't you know that crazy people live in Indiana? Apparently blind people too.

There is NO WAY you look even remotely old enough to be Brett's mom. You look as young as he does!

I do know how you feel... At one of my nieces showers, her mother-in-law asked if Brooke's little girl was my grandbaby. I was ticked! I told her no, that I didn't even have kids.

Love the self portrait!

I have that same problem! I always tell John that we are going to be like George and Barbara Bush. He will still look young and I will be the (larger) gray haired old lady standing next to him. Guess that is what we get for marrying such great guys...? There has to be a downside somewhere. Wouldn't trade him for the world though. I am sure you feel the same way.

I must say that you do look quite young yourself! You are extremely beautiful too. That man must need a good strong pair of glasses! In the right clothing, our hubbies do look extremely young..., especially yours. The bishop thing has aged John some.

I cannot stop laughing. Seriously, Brett...your son? I mean really. Brett certainly has a boyish charm about him, but he does not look that young. And you certainly do not look physically aged enough to be his MOTHER. Although I would say you probably have wisdom and sense beyond your years. Too funny. Too funny. Love the pics of the snow. It reminded me of a couple that I met last week in the Bahamas that were vacationing from snowy Indiana. They said it is the most wonderful place to live and raise a family. I thought of you and your little brood. When you get sick of the snow and cold, come to FL. It is always sunny here.AH

That is so funny. I was wondering how Tobe would be shoveling with a big old shovel. Don't worry you look young! Have you had a chance to run? We miss you! I hear you about everything shutting down. Sean always makes fun of ohio because we get an inch of snow and school is cancelled. I think that my sisters kids in ohio have had 6 or so days of. It is fun at the time, but when you go to school until mid june then it stinks. We are getting new neighbors tomorrow. Hope they are great! Take care and enjoy all the snow. Does it come very often in Indiana?

Oh man Amanda. That is funny. Your son?!?!? Geez.

I'm glad you had such a good visit with your brother. Looks like you guys did a ton of fun things!

Okay that is too funny! You DO NOT look old enough to be Brett's mom! Apparently staying home all that time really got to that guy!

Funny, and I can say that because I have had the same thing happen. My hubby looks young too. It is pretty depressing.

I think your neighbor must have thought you were so "mature" for your age because we know Brett doesn't always act his age!

That is hilarious. You totally do not look old. Growing up people that my dad was my grandpa because he had gray hair. Some people are just retarded.
I wanted to let you know that I was looking at your post again about your weight loss that you posted last spring. I am due in about six weeks and your story is such an inspiration to me. I can't wait to get out there and run.

I agree with what Amy said:)
Maybe the snow was blinding him, or your radiant beauty.

Your son???? WHATEVER!!! How old is your neighbor cause his eyesight is definitely going!

Fun pictures though. My kids would be so jealous. We had a little dusting of snow for about 2 hours today. Abby wants it to make a snow angle SO BAD!!!! Poor kid.

Thanks for the card too. Very sweet of you. I would totally love a fast forward button right about now. :)
