Okay, I Must Admit...

Many of you know of my obsession with High School Musical. I'm not sure why I act like a 16 year old when you even mention those 3 little words. Maybe it is because I loved my high school years. I really would love to revisit them just for a few days. Or is it the singing and dancing that is right up my ally? Or could it be the one and only Troy Boulton who makes me wish my husband would still dote over me (like he ever did;) and dance with me in the rain, sing in a tree house with me, or run after me when I am mad (how romantic:).

Well I couldn't wait any longer. I used Jane as an excuse and took her to see it tonight. I am coming clean and admitting that it is totally me that wanted to see it. I think she was more excited to go to the theaters and eat popcorn and get mommy all to herself. Well, my dear, I aim to please:) Now if she could only hold still, use the potty before the movie started and remain quiet throughout the whole show, it would have been all I ever hoped for.

I felt much better when I learned I wasn't the only crazy fan using their daughter to see a silly teenage show. When I took Jane to use the potty during the movie, another mom was in there holding the door saying, "Come on, HURRY!! You are going to miss your show!!" a 2 1/2 year old came walking out of the stall. Hmm...

Oh well!! At least I am admitting my addiction. It was a fabulous movie and I would even consider paying to see it again considering I ditched 2 people I promised to see it with because I was too impatient to wait for them. I just might leave Jane home next time though.

Ashley and I talked about it today - wondering when we were all going to take our daughters. Hummmmm....

You needed a break. A good old fashion love story to take your mind off of being a single mom, trying to find a house on the internet and making sure you still have all of Dad's clickers. Ha Ha! Good for you!!

Now I know why I am not that in to High School Musical, I think that it is because I hated High School. I thought that it was horrible

At least you have Jane to mask your love of High School musical...LOL! I just have to love it and secretly hope that Troy Bolton will still come find me (even at age 18). I haven't seen it yet, but am dying to.

I took Gracie and Avery to see "their" show, too! I am so in love with Troy, they just don't make romance like that in the real world! Gracie did decide that she is no longer in love with Zac Efron, though, because he has armpit hair. I've always felt that was his one downfall, myself! We loved the movie, HSM forever!!!!

I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only mother who is dyeing to see this movie. We have been so busy, but are going next Saturday. I can't wait!

I love highschool musical too, who says their only for kids? Hey, I just found I something funny...the couple that bought your house both grew up with Matt and his family in Pleasant Grove so we already know them really well. Yay...it's always nice to have automatic friends move in. But we do miss you guys, hope everything is going according to plan.

just checking in to see how you are doing. i hope you are doing well after the big move.
as i started reading your blog, i realized that you had a posting titled 'endure it well'...
those kinds of things always catch my eye because i love reading inspiring things... they help me.
then i saw that you added me to the mix of all of the other amazing women enduring difficult trials. thank you for your words.
i still reflect on that lesson you gave when i was down there for church a few months ago. thank you for that lesson.
i agree with you though... we all have our individual trials. joseph smith was given what he could handle (which was more than most people could handle)... then each of us are given what we can handle. sometimes i wish i could give some back, but 'enduring it well'... that is what it is all about.
