How You Can Help

I feel very weird posting this but I have had many people ask how they can help.  I've tried to stay very positive for my mom because I know she sometimes reads this, but I'm sad.  I've never been one to hide my feelings and I've always been known to be very honest.  So I will tell all of you I am so sad that this is happening to me.  Some moments I am fine and others I'm a running faucet.  I feel dumb calling people especially at times when I am crying and really need to talk to someone.  My whole family is feeling the same way but luckily at different times so we can buoy each other up when it's their turn to cry.
I would love for you to call me and ask how I am doing.  I don't mind talking and I need the support right now.  I check my blog all the time for comments and they help me a lot, but I would love phone calls.  I won't always answer but I will return them.  And those of you who have offered to take my kids, I'll probably be taking you up on the offer throughout the next few months.
Thanks for all your support, prayers, emails, phone calls, and love.  I really appreciate all the kind gestures.

I am so glad you posted this. Don't feel bad asking for help. It is one of the BEST things you can do right now and it's also probably one of the hardest things you will have to. (At least for me it is) Also, lean on all the support you get from your family and from your friends and loved ones. I am glad you posted this so I can know what I can do. Have a good night and I'll talk to you soon. Love, Adrian

I glad that you posted this, so many times this last week I have gone to call you or walk over to your house and talk to you but then I chicken out because I do not know if you just want to be alone or if you would like to talk.

I think it's great for you to know you're needs right now and to ask for help. That takes a lot of courage and it helps all your friends to really know what to do~since in times like this noone knows what's best. You're wonderful. Hugs and kisses.

I'm hopping over from erica's blog--I'm sorry to hear about your mom being sick. I am praying that the doctors will be inspired with her treatment. This just makes me think that as mothers we focus so much on our families that we forget to keep ourselves well at times. Enjoy the sunny moments as they come, don't borrow more worry than you can handle--just trust that the Lord has your mother in His care.
