Is It Just Me?

It seems that every January I suffer from a little "SAD".  The hustle and bustle of the holidays are over and it's too cold outside to do anything or go anywhere.  I long for those hot summer days where I can where these, and not get all bundled to go outside to get the mail.  Plus Brett's car is now in the shop (yes we just replaced my transmission in December) and I am homebound for the next 3-4 weeks while we are waiting on a part.  So I find myself filling my days with a lot of this and thinking about this and wishing I was here or here.  My new obsession is this (I know I am a little behind with the times) because Jane got the CD for Christmas and it was time we watched what every one is talking about.  I love musicals for the dancing and the singing and this one makes me want to go back to here just for a day and relive my glory days.  Oh well!  I am a mom and I love it but for those of you who feel the same way..."We're All In This Together"!!!

I too think I suffer from "SAD". I just saw this on the Martha Show and I wonder if it would help, I guess I could just hang my head off the bed, that thing just looks cool.

P.S. We love HSM2!
P.S.S. That food pick is funny, do you crave shrimp and fish too? ;)

I am with you...maybe we should all get together for some play date fun and be "SAD" together eh? Kami, I like that contraption...I think I'll try it, (hanging my head off the bed I mean). Here's to wishing for a quick and speedy end to winter :)

C'mon, relish the snow the dog days of summer will be here soon enough!
ps, here's one, bring some snow in on cookie sheets and make indoor snowmen!

I totally know what you mean. I will confess that High School Muscial 2 is one of my favorite movies. Keep telling yourself that summer weather is almost here. If you need a brake, when your car is fixed, come down and visit. We will warm you right up.

Oh my gosh you are so funny. I wish I knew how to link like that. Anyway, you must have had a good high school career, because I shudder at the thought of doing it all over again. And you are so funny that you like High School Musical (1 or 2), I have to admit, to me they were a little cheesy!! Don't be "SAD", I know what you are going through, so my advice, paint!! That is how I am getting through this "hangover"!! Or just re-arrange your house. Anything cheap that lifts your spirits (like truffles!! :0)) Hahaha!! I need to work out after my binge of those though, so maybe that is bad advice!! Have a good day, love ya!!

Amanda, That is such a cute post. I, like Becky, love all the seasons and only get tired of each season in the last week or so of it. But I would LOVE to go to Hawaii. Spring will be here before you know it.

I am for sure feeling the winter blues. Glad to know there are others. Spring can't get here fast enough!

I get cabin fever too. You feel like you are inside all day. We go for walks just to get out of the house. We were just talking about going to Disneyland the other day. I love it! Hang in there.

Amanda, I don't think you should be embarrassed to love High School Musical. I don't have any kids and I openly admit to loving the show. I watched #2 when it came out. I'm lame I know. At least Jane got the CD for x-mas since I also got the CD for x-mas...LOL! I'm not embarrassed that I have quite the crush on Zac Efron and don't care that he is "jail bait."
