When Brett and I were looking for a house I really wanted a fun neighborhood with young families that our kids could play with. A few weeks ago our neighbor's tree (the only big tree in our neighborhood) fell down in a wind storm. Everyone on the street, both young and old, came out to help the owners take care of the tree. We made a party out of the event. This isn't the first time; we've dug up weeds, planted sod, mowed lawns, etc. to serve our friends. We are very blessed to have such a fun place to live with such great neighbors.

Nice Neighbors are the best. I just changed my link for you to this one, is that good?
Hi Mand! I didn't know you were expecting...well now have a baby! Congrats! How does it feel to be the mom of 3? We need to get together sometime! We are doing well! Thanks for your sweet comments!
Good to hear from you, Amanda! We've got you linked on our blog now, so we'll be dropping in on a regular basis. Say hi to the Colonel and everyone at the Butler Fortress for us next time you're there. If you guys ever find yourselves in rural New Hampshire, let us know! We're only 25 minutes away from the Joseph Smith birthplace memorial in Sharon, VT . . .
I totally agree with you about blogging! I love keeping in touch and re-connecting with people! Aren't good neighbors just wonderful? I am glad you guys have a great neighborhood. Talk to you soon, Adrian
That is cool that you all did that. Do you live in Utah...? Just kidding. Too bad about the tree. Did Brett hook them up with the Arbor Day group so they can get growing a new tree? Hahahahaha!!
