My Dad

Losing my mom was devastating.  How do you live without your mom?  But I can't even begin to imagine losing a soulmate.  My heart breaks for my sweet dad.  He has been through so much this year.  He was about to celebrate his 40th anniversary with his sweetheart that he fell in love with as a young boy.  They have such a neat love story but that is for another post.
For now I just want my dad to know how much I love and care for him.  He is enduring this well.   He has stepped in as the mom and dad for his children and the grandma and grandpa for his grandchildren.  He is strong!!
Thanks dad for being such a great example to me and to my family.  I truly look up to you.  We will get through this.  You will get through this.
I love you Dad!!

My mom and dad would have celebrated their 40th anniversary last week, it's true how dads take on both roles. Aren't dads amazing!

I second everything Manda said.

Dad, you are an amazing man. You always have been but we are recognizing it more now.

Thanks for calling us and making sure we are alright, even on the days you wonder if you will be alright.

I love you so much!!

You are an amazingly strong person! I can tell from everything I have read and have been told you have an amazing family also. That is great for you all to be able to lean on one another. I think about you often. We missed you this morning.
